CONSTRUCTION OF DUNGQUAT OIL REFINERY TO START IN NOVEMBER,2005

Work is scheduled to start on the construction of the Dungquat Oil Refinery, the first in Vietnam, in November 2005. THE INVESTMENT STRATEGY'S ADJUSTMENT OF THE PHU MY – HO CHI MINH CITY GAS PIPELINE PROJECT

The Gas Pipeline Phu My – Ho Chi Minh City Project has been adjusted by the Prime Minister’s approval (document No.1584/TTg-DK dated Oct 14th, 2005) and it will be conducted separately into two phases. The phase one of the said policy is the investment to build the pipeline Phu My – Nhon Trach – Hiep Phuoc in order to supply gases for Hiep Phuoc Power-Station Plant and the other Plant at Nhon Trach with a capacity of 450 MW. The phase two will be the pipeline from Nhon Trach – Ho Chi Minh City
